Wellness Services:
In our commitment to a holistic and altruistic approach, we kindly request your thoughtful consideration in canceling or rescheduling appointments with a minimum notice of 24 hours. In circumstances where cancellation occurs within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment, a $25 No-Show/Late Cancellation Fee may apply.
We understand that life presents unexpected challenges beyond our control, and we empathize with your experiences. To embody our spirit of goodwill, the first No-Show appointment will be exempt from any fee. Furthermore, in situations of emergencies or hospitalization that prevent timely cancellation, we are more than willing to waive the fee.
Your understanding and cooperation in embracing this compassionate approach are greatly appreciated.
Therapy Services:
Recognizing life's unpredictability and the potential for unforeseen circumstances necessitating appointment changes, we approach our cancellation policy with empathy and a holistic perspective. Our primary aim is to deliver quality care to all our clients while ensuring each appointment is maintained for those in need. To strike this balance effectively, we've implemented the following cancellation policy.
Cancellation Notice: We kindly request a minimum of 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This courtesy ensures that another client in need can benefit from the available appointment slot.
No-Show or Less Than 24-hour Notice: In the event of a no-show or cancellation with less than 24-hour notice, a $50 fee will be charged to your account. Please note that this fee is not covered by insurance and is your responsibility to settle, so we kindly request that you keep a credit or debit card on file.
Exceptions: We fully understand that emergencies and unforeseen situations can occur. Please call Altruity Healthcare and Wellness immediately if an emergency occurs that would prevent you from providing advanced notice or attending your appointment.
3 No-Call/No-Shows: It's crucial to prioritize your appointments. Consistently missing or arriving late for appointments may suggest you are not committed to Altruity services. Three no-call/no-shows or late cancellations may result in denying Altruity services, and you may be referred to a new provider.
Late Arrivals: We acknowledge that unforeseen delays can occur. However, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule or adjust the session to ensure that it does not impact other scheduled appointments.
Therapist Cancellation: In rare instances, your therapist may cancel or reschedule a session. If this situation arises, we will provide you with ample notice. When a therapist-initiated cancellation occurs, we will collaborate with you to reschedule your appointment at a convenient time. There will be no cancellation fee in such cases, and we will prioritize accommodating your rescheduled appointment promptly. Your mental health and well-being are our top priorities, and we are dedicated to providing consistent and reliable care. Therapist-initiated cancellations are a last resort, and we strive to minimize any disruptions to your treatment.
